Concrete Kitchen Flooring is both Functional and Beautiful.

Highly versatile concrete kitchen flooring is available in much higher percentages then in the past.  It is able to take on just about any look that you are going for in your new kitchen.  Also because of the nature of concrete if you ever do want to change it to another flooring material it is much easier to change then a lot of other materials because you do not need to rip it out to install a new material just install over the old concrete.  This however will probably not be something you think about because of the beauty and strength of concrete.

Many advances have been made with concrete which has changed it from plain to wonderful.Once it was only possible to get concrete in unimaginative colors and styles but today there are many more looks out there for concrete.  Due to its nature you are able to paint or stain it to give it a distinct look and fell put that along with its ease of maintenance and you have yourself one awesome material to use in not only the kitchen but the rest of the house as well.

Pros :
-Ease of maintenance and repair.
-Resistant to fire, water, and spill as well as many other things.
-Variety
-Easy to modify and change if you want to.

Cons:
-Hard on the body and also if you drop anything expect it to break.
-Can stain and crack over time if not properly maintained.

Other then regular cleaning the only other maintenance is proper sealing to look as good as new forever.  The cost range for concrete kitchen flooring is a little wider than most others due mainly to the different looks that you are able to achieve.  Ranging from between $3 and $15 per square foot on average concrete is very affordable.  If you mix the durability with ease of maintenance concrete kitchen flooring can be the ideal pick for your family and situation.
